Registration

  • Assist Judge, preferably someone not in show
  • Work with gallery to handle sponsor banner & other displays
  • Devise and purchase thank you gifts and distribute them.
  • Select Caterers or volunteers to cook & then manage food display for the reception
  • Name tags for participating artists (prepared)
  • Artist’s & People’s Choice (ballots handed out by floaters moving around event)
  • person with server’s license for alcohol
  • Be sure mic is available, runner to bring prized paintings. Can be people from other positions.
  • Welcome people at the door at the and direct artists to Front desk for badges and name tags.
  • Receive drop off artwork. Fill out intake form. Enter in master database

  • Position to be discussed with Chair. May select specific position as well.

To volunteer, select the Dark Blue  REGISTER  button below the listed positions to the left once in the module.

You may volunteer for an additional position by selecting the underlined Already registered after registering for your first (and subsequent) position.

Position such as the ones listed below will be listed for you to select once in the sign up process. Each position has a max # as indicated in the parentheses, with a waitlist . Note that you may sign up for more than one position (if no conflicts).

Volunteer positions might include:

Any position - general help (no max)

June 7 5-7. Reception, Demo, Catering, etc:

  • Catering: select caterer or vollunteers to cook & manage food display (1)
  • Reception (1): Welcome person (knows members) 
  • Layout: work with gallery, handle sponsor banner & other displays
  • Judging: 1 person to assist Judge, preferably someone NOT in the show

June 7. Welcome Card Table:

  • Name tags for participating artists - prepared (1 person)
  • General name tag & brochure handouts (1 person)
  • Artist's and People's Choice. Ballots handed out by floaters moving around event (2 floaters)

June 7. Food and drink table:

  • 1 person with server's license for alcohol

June 7 Event:

  • be sure mic is available, runner to bring prized painting (2 people) can be people from other positions

Shipping, receiving, returning:

  • May 23-24 10-3. . Receiving: check in paintings in person and/or shipped works
  • June 24. 10-3. Pack up and return shipping (1 person)
  • June 24. 10-3. Check out paintings to artists in person (2 people)

Also, you may view all your event registrations on the "My event registrations" tab in your profile (click on head icon above).
